First Step Recovery Centers, Inc., (FSRC) is a non-profit corporation licensed by the State of Tennessee Department of Mental Health Substance Abuse Services.  Funding for treatment services comes from state contracts, grants, and fundraising.

In keeping with our vision and values, First Step Recovery Centers welcomes all individuals regardless of the challenges or problems they face.  First Step Recovery Centers provides treatment services for individuals who have substance abuse problems, mental health issues, and/or co-occurring disorders.  We offer an empathetic, ethical, responsive, and professional attitude in all phases of care.

First Step Recovery Centers is located at 1950 Madison Ave and is in the heart of midtown Memphis.  FSRC is in close proximity to the downtown medical area which includes the MED, the VA Hospital, and the Memphis Mental Health Institute, it is also accessible by the MATA Bus line. The presence of these facilities provides FSRC clients the opportunity to access other needed services.
